i wish they would make a spin-off show about Lala-lulu. I would watch that
The girl on the left is my half-sister. Her mother who I’ve always thought of as family had to move all of them out of the state to get away from an abusive boyfriend. The little boy on the right is autistic and needs extra help in school. She’s been trying really hard to keep her family safe but needs help getting supplies for the school year.
This is the description her mother put onto the donation page.
"My 100 percent disabled daughter suffers from a rare disease. She is a single Mom with 4 kids. My grandson is autistic, and thanks to early intervention; and my daughters endless patience, and understanding he is doing very well in mainstream classes with extra help. I have always been able to help her make ends meet. I am currently in poor health and not working. I have scoured the internet to find charities to help to no avail. My grandchildren need school clothes, shoes, and school supplies. My daughter needs assistance to put food on the table. The local food bank only permits one visit a month. My autistic grandson has a limited amount of foods he will eat, due to the food texture. Her washer just broke, and needs car repairs. Please help my family. I realize times are hard for everyone, but any donation is gratefully accepted. Thank you for your kindness."
If there is anything anyone can do to help that would be greatly appreciated!
Anything would help, even a reblog to raise awareness. School starts soon, if you can help they would be eternally grateful!
I don’t have a way to help, but spread the word guys!

What’s beautiful about this, too, is the image that a monk presents. Plenty of people are able to vilify black people enough to not care if they see violence against them and due to their ignorance and racism they see a crowd of them as something violent or criminal. But image of monks getting hurt and dying are often something most people recoil against when they see them in news about like the situation in Tibet.
By standing with them, they bring that image of peace with them to show that the people they are standing with are just as peaceful as them, and if there were to be any further violence against them, it’d be terrible press for the cops: images of police shooting tear gas and rubber bullets at monks.
This was a good thing they did, especially when there’s so much slant in the press to make black people look like thugs.
